FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Young Woodbury sisters Ava and Noelle spread their positive message through song
Energetic duo have been inspiring crowds since they were in grade school

Sisters Ava & Noelle were just ages nine and seven, respectively when their first cassette, Rush to the House, was released to rave reviews. With their upbeat music and positive message, the two singers quickly developed a devout following of fans that has continued to multiply over the last 11 years.

"We're gospel, hip hop, R&B, funk, jazz, rock, classical inspired … there's no limit to our musical influences," say Ava and Noelle, who live in Woodbury. "When it comes to writing and producing our music we have no barriers!"

Their music is described as gospel without being 'churchy.' "Any listener can enjoy it without being offended," confirms their mother Leonoria. "When Ava & Noelle appear at the upcoming Body Mind Life Expo™, March 18th and 19th at the Minneapolis Convention Center, audiences can look forward to seeing young, energetic ladies loving what their doing: dancing as they sing inspirational music."

A justifiably proud Leonora recalls the duos' early days. "Their father and I used to sing, and Ava would come to rehearsals. When we couldn't hit the high notes, Ava could! She started singing in churches at a very young age. But we didn't know that Noelle could also sing until Ava went to New Orleans to cut an album."

Now veteran performers, producers, songwriters and arrangers -- with three CDs' worth of music in their repertoire -- Ava & Noelle also are busy conducting an abstinence education campaign around the country. They teach refusal and negotiation skills through role playing, and provide follow-up resources to their audiences. They have even released a single that also teaches abstinence.

Ava & Noelle will perform at 2 p.m. Friday March 18th and 10 a.m. Saturday March 19th at the Body Mind Life Expo™, the Midwest's largest natural health, wellness and natural products expo. Copies of their CDs will be available for purchase at the show. To preview their music, and learn more about this energetic sister act, visit www.avaandnoelle.com.
