FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Seniors find time to celebrate this spring
The Seniors Spring Show™ is a popular gathering for those seniors who just aren't ready to settle down

If you are turning 60 this year, you’re in good company. Donald Trump, Sylvester Stallone and President George W. Bush all celebrate their 60th birthdays in 2006. In fact, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, a whopping 7, 918 people will turn 60 every single day this year. And just as their numbers aren’t slowing down, neither are these seniors!

Now in its third year, the Seniors Spring Show™ (www.101expos.com), to be held April 4-5 at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, celebrates everything that’s good about getting older.

There will be a live demonstration by 66-year-old Karen Gigikos, who took up Taekwondo two years ago and just earned her black belt. Attendees can learn new moves with the interactive SilverSneakers® group exercise classes. The “B”zz, a benevolent dance group comprised of ladies in their 70s, will be on hand to entertain and teach audience members a few of their signature dance steps. And for those who love to laugh, don’t miss a performance by actors from The Plymouth Playhouse.

In addition to great entertainment, there will be plenty of free seminars offering valuable information. The Social Security Administration will conduct a seminar to answer some of the most common questions about its services. And home remodeling seminars will help seniors avoid rip-offs and learn the right questions to ask contractors. All this plus health seminars, financial information, and more!

The Seniors Spring Show™ also is an opportunity for seniors and caregivers to explore hundreds of products and services targeting their age group. There also are interesting speakers, great entertainment, and hundreds of dollars in free prizes and giveaways. For additional information, and half price tickets visit www.101expos.com. Or call the expo hotline at 612-798-7256.
