FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Did you fulfill a life-long dream after age 60?
The producers of the Seniors Spring Show™ and Seniors Expo™ launch search for seniors' inspirational accomplishments

What lifelong dream did you fulfill after you turned 60? Did you take your first photography class? Climb a mountain? Tour China? Earn a degree? Your achievement could earn you special recognition, thanks to the producers of the Seniors Spring Show™ and the Seniors Expo™.

"We're looking for inspirational stories about active seniors in our community who understand that today is the best time to fulfill a dream," says Mid-America Events & Expos President Robin Kocina. "We believe that 60 is a new beginning, and we want to find people who think the same way."

The producers' five favorite stories submitted to the Seniors Lifelong Dream contest will be featured in the 2006 Seniors Expo™ magazine, and made available to local media. In addition, the top five winners will be personally presented on stage at the Seniors Expo™, September 25-26, 2006 at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel. The top winner also will receive a trip for two to Laughlin, Nevada courtesy of Don Lauglin's Riverside Hotel and Casino. The prize includes round trip airfare for two, one room, and transportation to and from the airport.

The 3rd annual Seniors Spring Show™ will showcase many active senior citizens, including a live demonstration by 66-year-old Anoka resident Karen Gigikos who earned her black belt in Taekwondo just last year. The show, which takes place April 3-4, 2006 at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel, will be packed with other products, services, destinations, speakers and entertainment geared toward people age 60 and older.

Seniors Lifelong Dream entry information will be available at the Seniors Spring Show™, and is available online at www.101expos.com. All entries must be received no later than June 16, 2006. Half price expo tickets can also be found on the Web site. Or call the expo hotline at 612-798-7256.

The Seniors Spring Show™ is sponsored by KSTP-TV, KSTC-TV, WMGT Mighty 1220 radio, Medica, Humana, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Minnesota, Stressfree Living, Senior Times, and Media Relations, Inc.
