Seniors: In February 2009, nearly 70 million TV sets could lose their signals. Will yours be among them?
Answers about the switch to all-digital broadcasting are just part of this year’s exciting Seniors Expo

Confused by the upcoming switch to all-digital broadcasting? Will the spare TVs in your kitchen or bedroom still get reception? This year’s Seniors Expo (www.101expos.com) is the place to come for answers to your TV viewing questions, as well as questions about 2009 Medicare changes, anti-aging breakthroughs, exercise tips, plus dancing, singing and a whole lot of fun.

The expo, taking place October 6-7, 2008 at Grand Casino Mille Lacs in Onamia, is the granddaddy of seniors events in the Midwest, attracting thousands of retirees as well as 50-60-year olds planning for that next phase in their lives.

A gigantic 20-foot TV screen, known as the DTV Trekker, is one highlight of this year's event. "It's estimated that nearly 70 million TV sets may lose their signals with the digital broadcasting change-over next February," says Robin Kocina, President of Mid-America Events & Expos, producers of the Seniors Expo, "and we don’t want our region's seniors' TV viewing to be interrupted."

In addition to getting your questions answered about digital TV reception, the Seniors Expo is your one-stop place to get the latest information about upcoming Medicare changes, and to visit with senior-friendly companies about their coolest new products and services.

And because we know seniors love to a good time, you'll get free admission to the Ms. Senior Minnesota Pageant (including the chance to meet the current Ms. Senior America, who is from Minnesota); discover how much fun exercise can be with the SilverSneakers, and more!
