Award-winning TV producer and personality Barry ZeVan says U.S. needs to place more value in older Americans
The man known to many Minnesotans as "Barry ZeVan, the Weatherman" will make a special guest appearance at this year's Seniors Expo.

Barry ZeVan, the award-winning television producer and talent best known to many as “Barry ZeVan, the Weatherman” has an important message. Now a young-at-heart 71-year-old, he wants the U.S. to follow the example of other countries and seek the wisdom and counsel of older Americans. “History does repeat itself. I think we’re wasting our resources by not encouraging our youth to look to older people for guidance,” he says. ZeVan will make a special appearance that this year’s Seniors Expo, taking place October 6-7, 2008 at Grand Casino Mille Lacs.

During his seminar, entitled We're Definitely Very Much Alive!!!, ZeVan will discuss why our society needs to emulate almost every other society in the world, i.e., those who respect their seniors, not only seeking their wisdom and counsel, but also putting those qualities to good use for societal growth. The Seniors Expo (www.101expos.com) has been serving area seniors for eight years.
