They're Putting Rhythm into Retirement
Local seniors to pay tribute to Elvis at the 2003 Seniors Expo™

People just can't help falling in love with the "B"zz. This popular seniors dance troupe will be back by overwhelming demand at the 2003 Senior's Expo™, running September 29-30 at Mystic Lake Casino.

The "B"zz (pronounced Bees) is a benevolent dance troupe comprised of retired women, whose median age is 74. Their 300+ repertoire ranges from country line dancing to the samba. This year, they are adding a rousing Tribute to Elvis routine, sure to become a crowd pleaser.

In addition to performing, these vivacious ladies eagerly teach audience members of all ages a few of their signature dance moves. The group was invited back to The Seniors Expo™following rave reviews of their performances for the last two years.

"People watching us realize there is nothing wrong with having fun," comments "B"zz president Marion Nichols. "We like to show seniors that no matter what they want to do - whether it's dancing or rollerblading -- now is the time to do it!" She adds, "I can't think of anything we're too old to do. None of us had dance lessons as kids. We all got married and raised a family. Now it's our time."

The goal of The Seniors Expo™is to help seniors get more fun and excitement out of retirement, just as the "B"zz are doing. Dancing with the "B"zz helps these women keep in shape physically and mentally. They enjoy the exercise, their ability to entertain, and their involvement with audiences of all ages. The "B"zz stay busy throughout the year performing at local festivals, parades and the Mall of America, among other venues. This year, they are adding 'Grand Marshals of Edina's Fourth of July parade' to their growing list of accomplishments.

The "B"zz will kick up their heels both days of the Seniors Expo™, an event that also will showcase up to 200 exhibitors, and two stages of speakers, demonstrations and fun entertainment for the entire family. Prizes and drawings include tickets for two to any Sun Country Airlines domestic destination.

In addition to Mystic Lake Casino and Sun Country Airlines, other Seniors Expo™ sponsors include Ebenezer, Good Age, KLBB radio and Medica.
