Robin Kocina President Robin Kocina is founder and president of Mid-America Events & Expos, Inc. Robin Kocina's primary focus is on helping people reach their full potential by working within their strengths. She is a hands-on mentor, encouraging employees to set and acheive personal and professional goals. Robin's strengths-based management, which is now used by the entire management team, is instrumental to the companies' efficient workflow, and key to its long-term growth strategy. Robin is a past board member and past Chairman of the Board for Women Venture. She also serves on the Leadership Board for the National Federation of Independent Business, and is an active member of the Women's Presidents Organization. She was honored in 2010 with the Bloomington Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year Awards, in 2008 as one of the 25 Women to Watch by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and with the Upsize Lifeline Award , in 2006 with Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine's Standing Ovation Award, and is the recipient of the 2005 Luminary Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners, Minnesota Chapter. Robin holds a bachelors degree from Metropolitan State, and attended University of St. Thomas' Executive MBA program. |

Michelle Roddie Vice President of Operations Michelle Roddie has been with Mid-America Events & Expos since its inception, and with parent company Kocina Marketing Companies since 1992. Her specialty is in organizing and managing successful corporate events and consumer expos, with an emphasis on exhibitor relations. She is an integral part of the management team that ensures quality service to all clients. Roddie has been instrumental in developing and implementing all of Mid-America's consumer expos. In addition, her corporate clients include Prudential, Cargill, Malt-O-Meal, HB Foundation and World Championship of Fantasy Football. Michelle's responsibilities include event creation and development, project management, and overall event coordination. |

Robin Miller Associate Editor Robin Miller writes, edits and manages the written materials for all of Kocina Marketing Companies. She is responsible for press releases; Web content; proposals; ghostwritten articles and books; and copy for TV, radio and print advertising. |
