How to Talk Minnesotan the Musical comes to the Seniors Spring Show!
Cast members present scenes from Minnesota’s favorite homegrown musical comedy, now appearing at the Plymouth Playhouse. Since folks have always had such a good time learning the basics six years
ago, Ed and Lucy Humde thought it might be fun to offer a bush-up course. You will be treated to those beloved classics Hotdish Hallelujah, Northwoods Woman and Brother’s In Ice along with easy
to follow lessons underscored by advertising spots and jingles.
What kind of elder care is in your future?
Come to a special screening of The Journey Home, and discuss the film with the filmmaker Jim Gambrone, on Wednesday April 7th at 10 a.m. at the Seniors Spring Show. The film stars Marian Adcock,
Cameo Club president, in her first film role.
The Journey Home is a provocative look at the future of elder care in the US. The short film (10 minutes) is set in a care facility of the future in the year 2030. Shot in high definition black and white, with a surreal color montage, the story follows an older woman on her Journey Home. It is a 'thought film' that ends with many provocative questions for the audience to answer.
